Karma – Missing Numbers

Karma is the vibration that was missing from your name at birth and is what you are trying to learn in this lifetime.

Karma influences the people that you will meet, the relationships that you will form, and the problems that you will encounter. You are learning in this life experience and your Karma number recognizes what it is that you are determined to master.

Important relationships involve some connection with the Karma numbers. You will be strongly attracted to those whose Destiny, Personality or Total Expression numbers are the numbers that you are missing. You will also be attracted to those who share the same missing numbers.

There is no such thing as ‘good Karma’ or ‘bad Karma’. Karma is experience. Karma is learning. It is not punishment or reward.

WHAT IS YOUR KARMA NUMBER?

This is very easy to determine. Analyze your FULL name at birth. Use the name that your mother gave you, even if it is different on your official birth certificate or baptismal certificate.

Use the original spelling, even if you never use it now. Use your FULL ORIGINAL BIRTH NAME and assign each letter the appropriate number.

The KARMA number is simply any number from one to nine that does NOT appear in the full name that you were given at birth.

Example:

1 1 5 5   4 1 9 9 5   2 9 6 5 5
J A N E   M A R I E   B R O W N

There are no threes, no sevens and no eights. Therefore, this person may be said to have a Karma of 3, 7 & 8.

KARMA NUMBERS

Karma of One – The number One represents leadership, independence and creativity and the individual will have to make a great effort to develop those traits. Because the ego is not well developed, extra effort is required to develop even the initiative to be self reliant. In past lifetime experiences the individual has made no effort to stand on his own two feet, or he has gone to the opposite extreme and placed too much emphasis on his independence, his intelligence or his leadership skills.

Karma of Two – The number Two represents the traits of diplomacy, sensitivity, and the ability to function well in a partnership or cooperative type situation. If you are lacking this influence, you will have to learn to be considerate of the thoughts and feelings of others. You will have to learn to deal with detail and diplomacy. You may also have to learn to work in partnerships without being overpowered by your partner.

Karma of Three – The number Three represents the qualities of self-expression, communication and sociability. The person who lacks this influence has avoided development in these areas. The lessons in this lifetime involve learning how to successfully communicate with all facets of society; involves developing an active social life that does not become superficial or trivial and involves the development of some form of creative expression and an association with those who are expressing their own artistic talent.

Karma of Four – You have some things to learn about self-discipline, work, and structures. You will learn the pleasure of planning a job and working it through to successful completion. You will learn to put structure and form to your ideas and dreams.

You may (especially in your early years) have difficulty settling down and applying yourself in a steady, disciplined manner. Until you learn how to take your dreams ideas and put them into some real form, you will have difficulty doing the things that you want to do with your life. Often those with a Karma of Four are attracted to some hobby or profession that requires daily routine or daily practice.

Karma of Five – This karma number is very uncommon. The Five represents the qualities of freedom, experimentation, curiosity and the capability to express oneself. If you lack this influence, you have to either overcome a fear of change or a tendency to be overindulgent and lacking in self-discipline.

If you are too rigid, you may find that changes of any kind are threatening and that you lack curiosity about the world around you. You have to learn to appreciate new experiences and to react to them in a positive manner.

The other side of the lack of this influence is a shortage of enough discipline to maintain healthy relationships and any sort of constructive growth. There can also be a tendency to overindulge the body with too much food, alcohol, drugs or sensual pursuits. If you have a Karma of Five you therefore have to encourage your growth of curiosity and adaptability while resisting a tendency for overindulgence.

Karma of Six – The number Six represents the qualities of love, balance, humanity and tolerance. If you lack this influence, you have not developed the balanced expression of these qualities and may not have developed an appreciation of family and love relationships. You may not have not learned to give freely without expecting a return. Your lessons will be based on learning the importance of family, of love, and how to give and take in a balanced emotional relationship. You will encounter individuals who are judgemental and express a conditional form of love and you will encounter individuals who are able to show you how truly valuable a healthy relationship can be.

Karma of Seven – The Seven Karma involves overcoming a fear or resistance to spiritual matters, and learning to be alone without being lonely.

The spiritual resistance could come from a lifetime where you suffered somehow for your religious or mystical beliefs. You may have lost your life, lost someone close to you or been hurt for what you believed. In this lifetime, you are drawn to these subjects because they are familiar and therefore evoke your interest but you may feel yourself repeatedly drawing back.

You may also have difficulty learning to enjoy your own company. Many people with this karma number do not like to be alone at all. You must learn to spend time alone, to enjoy your time alone and to quietly let his thoughts develop without constant outside stimulation.

You may be drawn to alcohol or drugs as an escape. You will find that as you expand your spiritual nature and learn to meditate and find other ways of achieving inner peace, the craving for artificial forms of escape automatically lessens.

Karma of Eight – The Eight Karma involves learning how to use money and power wisely. In past lifetimes you may have abused money or power or not bothered involving yourself in the world of commerce. The power that you must learn about may also have to do with psychic power.

In this lifetime, you may find that your income has great peaks and valleys until you learn how to wisely use this resource and that money is only energy and that material possessions are not your prime goal.

You will come up against strong individuals who force you to develop your own personal power. This personal power includes the ability to not be intimidated by others and the ability to successfully use power techniques in a responsible manner.

Karma of Nine – The number Nine represents humanity, sensitivity, warmth, and the ability to see life’s experiences in their proper perspective. If you lack this number, you will have to learn to master your emotions and to respond in an open manner to your fellow man. You must learn to experience fully the many experiences that come your way without letting your emotions overwhelm you.

You must learn to look ahead, letting go of the past and of situations that have already passed you by. You must learn to think in terms of your role as one individual in a very large world, and stop isolating your thoughts and your emotions to your own personal concerns.

If there are no numbers missing in the name - You have chosen this life to round out your experience in a number of areas with no great concentration on any one facet, or you have chosen to have no karma this time so that you may help someone who has chosen a very heavy load.

This is an indication that you have reached some degree of mastery of life. There will not be a heavy emphasis on any one kind of situation although you have probably chosen to live a challenging life. You will often find yourself in situations where you can help others.

Astrology of an Address ~ Dayel Kirk

    July 8, 2009

Dayel Kirk has a fun freebie on her site, The Reluctant Astrologer. She gives you the astrology of your address. She takes only the number from your address (no street name) and assigns it to the 360 degree zodiac. If you live in an apartment, only the apartment number is used, not the street number.

If you are a numerologist, you will find using the zodiac degree a very interesting addition to your number meanings.

My address number corresponds with 14 Pisces. Dayel describes this as:

A Pisces address is a place for rest or escape, relaxation, regeneration, creative expression, spiritual pursuits or solitude.

At this address, I have cared for elderly parents, started a small theatre and this blog, studied various religious texts, delved into spirituality, and found a great deal of solitude. It’s much more relaxing than my previous address (perhaps too much so) and has recently been certified as a wildlife habitat.

Thanks, Dayel! Please visit The Reluctant Astrologer to get the astrology of your address, along with some other freebies and some excellent posts on current astrological trends and personalities.
