Major Influences
There are four major time periods in a person's life. These time
periods will each have a predominant emphasis and a particular
challenge. The first time period lasts approximately thirty years and
it is important for parents to understand because it does cover all of
the childhood years.
PINNACLE OF TWO
The Two for the First Pinnacle is a sensitive period with an emphasis
on cooperation, group activity, sharing and learning to relate well
with others.
The lessons involved involve developing those skills needed for
successful, well balanced relationships with others. This child
should not feel pressured to take leadership roles but should feel
encouraged instead to enjoy her role as participant in a variety of
social situations.
CHALLENGE OF FIVE
The Challenge for Maya's early years is a Five. The Five represents
curiosity, freedom, communication and personal expression.
In the Challenge position, the Five indicates a need for Maya to
explore her world and indulge her creative and curious nature without
hopelessly scattering her energy. In a child's chart, a Challenge of
Five may indicate a hyperactive nature or, at the far end of the
scale, a child who is frightened of any sort of change.
