  Pluto in Capricorn is a big part of the explanation. The last time Pluto was in Capricorn was 1762 to 1777 when both Canada and the US became nations.

  There is an interesting article called 'Road to Independence, a chronology of events of the next 13 years.' that covers almost exactly that period of time.

He gained acclaim and became best known for his winning rendition of the song “Over the Rainbow” on the show… He is a multi-million selling recording artist with nine studio albums to his credit… He has toured extensively in concert and has played to sold-out audiences at major venues including New York’s Carnegie Hall, Los Angeles’ Universal Amphitheater and London’s West End. He has appeared with the Boston Pops Symphony Orchestra, at the White House and has sung on a variety of television specials and live productions…

Sam’s chart shows Saturn in Capricorn. Saturn is our fears, limitations, karma, blocks and – eventually – our greatest satisfaction. It is what you are here to learn. Saturn in Capricorn (or Capricorn on the Tenth house) has to do with achievement, success, reputation. Success will come slowly or there will be lots of ups and downs along the way.   Dayel Kirk has a fun freebie on her site, The Reluctant Astrologer. She gives you the astrology of your address. She takes only the number from your address (no street name) and assigns it to the 360 degree zodiac. If you live in an apartment, only the apartment number is used, not the street number.

  If you are a numerologist, you will find using the zodiac degree a very interesting addition to your number meanings.

  My address number corresponds with 14 Pisces. Dayel describes this as:

  A Pisces address is a place for rest or escape, relaxation, regeneration, creative expression, spiritual pursuits or solitude.

  At this address, I have cared for elderly parents, started a small theatre and this blog, studied various religious texts, delved into spirituality, and found a great deal of solitude. It’s much more relaxing than my previous address (perhaps too much so) and has recently been certified as a wildlife habitat.
