North Korea

North Korea was created on August 10, 1945, at the end of World War 11, in an agreement between Russia and the United States.

Robert Couteau’s Transcendental Nations, cites Washington as the ‘birth place’ because this is where the agreement was signed. That chart has Leo rising with the ruling planet, the Sun, opposite Neptune. A Sun opposite Neptune personality is fascinating but confusing and shifts a lot due to the perceptions of the viewer.

The chart for the same time in Pyongyang has Scorpio rising and shows how North Korea sees itself – as private, powerful and in control.

North Korea

For the past few weeks, North Korea has been flaunting international concerns and testing nucleur devices and various rockets. This has occured in the period of the Solar return ruled by Venus conjunct Mercury i.e. this has been an exercise in communiction.

Today (and for the next 23 days), North Korea is in the ‘harvest’ section of the Solar Return, ruled by warlike Pluto square Mars. Whatever North Korea’s original intent, energies now in play may bring things to a very dangerous crisis.

    Dearest astrologer,
I was given a vision in the 1990′s. All the predictions have come true so far. 4 of them. The fifth one is the dog in the east will bite the warmongers when they least expect it. I have thought that this meant North Korea. The more North Korea ramps up the more resonance I feel that this is true. Do you know anything about oriental astrology and what the “dog in the east” might mean. Thank you. Tantra

Astrology of an Address ~ Dayel Kirk

    July 8, 2009

Dayel Kirk has a fun freebie on her site, The Reluctant Astrologer. She gives you the astrology of your address. She takes only the number from your address (no street name) and assigns it to the 360 degree zodiac. If you live in an apartment, only the apartment number is used, not the street number.

If you are a numerologist, you will find using the zodiac degree a very interesting addition to your number meanings.

My address number corresponds with 14 Pisces. Dayel describes this as:

A Pisces address is a place for rest or escape, relaxation, regeneration, creative expression, spiritual pursuits or solitude.

At this address, I have cared for elderly parents, started a small theatre and this blog, studied various religious texts, delved into spirituality, and found a great deal of solitude. It’s much more relaxing than my previous address (perhaps too much so) and has recently been certified as a wildlife habitat.

Thanks, Dayel! Please visit The Reluctant Astrologer to get the astrology of your address, along with some other freebies and some excellent posts on current astrological trends and personalities.
