Bernie Madoff
Madoff pled guilty to 11 counts including fraud, perjury, theft from an employee benefit plan, and two counts of international money laundering. He was handcuffed and sent to jail to await sentencing, which may be a virtual life sentence considering the severity of the charges and Madoff’s age.
