  Pluto in Capricorn is a big part of the explanation. The last time Pluto was in Capricorn was 1762 to 1777 when both Canada and the US became nations.

  There is an interesting article called 'Road to Independence, a chronology of events of the next 13 years.' that covers almost exactly that period of time.

Israeli Ground Troops in Gaza

JERUSALEM (CNN) — Israeli troops began moving into Gaza on Saturday night, intent on taking out Hamas rocket-launching sites, after a week of airstrikes into the Hamas-controlled territory, Israel Defense Forces said.

A dramatic feature of Israel’s chart is the Venus/Vertex conjunction in the 5th degree of Cancer. Venus represents the values and the assets of a nation and the Vertex is a mysterious point of karmic confrontation.

The Sabian symbol for the 5th degree of Cancer is ‘At A Railroad Crossing, An Automobile is Wrecked By A Train’, a point of the culmination of past actions.

Pluto is currently at 1 Capricorn 21, approximately 3 1/2 degrees away from an opposition to the Venus/Vertex conjunction. (Any opposition represents a confrontation and a Pluto opposition represents – among other things -transformation through a struggle for power.) The effects of a transit normally do not manifest until it is within 2 degrees but Mars, the planet of energy, passion, drive, anger and ego, was *exactly* opposite Venus/Vertex yesterday and acted as a catalyst to accelerate the effect.

The other significant transit at this time is Neptune square Israel’s Sun, a time of confusion and weakening of the government or of government leaders and misunderstandings between the government and its citizens.

2009 is a Four Year for Israel, a time for the physical testing and manifestation of those things begun three years ago.

She takes only the number from your address (no street name) and assigns it to the 360 degree zodiac. If you live in an apartment, only the apartment number is used, not the street number.

  If you are a numerologist, you will find using the zodiac degree a very interesting addition to your number meanings.

  My address number corresponds with 14 Pisces. Dayel describes this as:

  A Pisces address is a place for rest or escape, relaxation, regeneration, creative expression, spiritual pursuits or solitude.

  At this address, I have cared for elderly parents, started a small theatre and this blog, studied various religious texts, delved into spirituality, and found a great deal of solitude. It’s much more relaxing than my previous address (perhaps too much so) and has recently been certified as a wildlife habitat.
