A Dramatic Year for Prince Charles?

Prince Charles

Prince Charles

I wasn’t planning to blog Prince Charles until I noticed that it was his birthday and automatically (for me!) ran his Solar Return – the chart that is calculated each year when the Sun returns to the exact position that it was in at the time of birth (i.e. birthday) and describes the year to come.

Prince Charles’ Solar Return has Pluto very near to the Ascendant which shows that this will be a transformational year for him. The USA also has Pluto on the Ascendant of its Solar return demonstrating how dramatic the effect can be but, in Charles’ case, Pluto is also making connections to planets in his birth chart, intensifying the effect.

Because of the planets involved, some of the effect will be shared with other early ‘boomers’, those born around the same time as Charles. This is a reality or paradigm shift and the challenge is to be flexible and adjust to inevitable changes.

The other dramatic element in Charles’ Solar Return is the Saturn/Uranus opposition which also affects elements of his birth chart. This is delays, frustration, the need for change opposed to strong traditional resistance.

When I notice something dramatic in one chart, I look for confirmation in other places and found it with Saturn in the Solar Arc progressed chart making an exact conjunction to Mercury in the birth chart. Saturn keeps track of reality and what you are physically doing and indicates a culmination of some sort.

The other indication of change for Charles is that he is almost at the end of a Nine Year and begins a new cycle in less than two months.

Astrology of an Address ~ Dayel Kirk

    July 8, 2009

Dayel Kirk has a fun freebie on her site, The Reluctant Astrologer. She gives you the astrology of your address. She takes only the number from your address (no street name) and assigns it to the 360 degree zodiac. If you live in an apartment, only the apartment number is used, not the street number.

If you are a numerologist, you will find using the zodiac degree a very interesting addition to your number meanings.

My address number corresponds with 14 Pisces. Dayel describes this as:

A Pisces address is a place for rest or escape, relaxation, regeneration, creative expression, spiritual pursuits or solitude.

At this address, I have cared for elderly parents, started a small theatre and this blog, studied various religious texts, delved into spirituality, and found a great deal of solitude. It’s much more relaxing than my previous address (perhaps too much so) and has recently been certified as a wildlife habitat.

Thanks, Dayel! Please visit The Reluctant Astrologer to get the astrology of your address, along with some other freebies and some excellent posts on current astrological trends and personalities.
