The Big Bailout

Section 8 of the Bailout:Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency.

How is this even being considered?

By transit:

  • Neptune has been in the Second House since 1992 and will be there until February, 2009.
  • The Second house is money, national wealth, banks, stock exchange
  • Neptune and money do not combine well.  Neptune has more to do with spirituality and creativity, dreams and illusions.
  • When Neptune and money are combined, there are often elements of fraud, secret plots, loss.
  • Neptune is currently making a difficult angle to Neptune in the USA ‘birth’ chart and has been most of this year. This angle ties the money house with the part of the chart that has to do with law and with international relationships.

    USA 2008 Solar Return

    USA 2008 Solar Return

  •  From the Solar Return:
    • The Solar Point has been transversing the Second house of financial concerns since August 12.
    • In the Solar return for this year, the Second house is ruled by Uranus square Pluto, square Mercury, square the Ascendant/Descendant.  In other words, disruption and chaos - involving money.
    • On September 23, the Solar Point moves into the Third house (communication, media, national transportation), however the money house is still involved because of the location of the ruler of this house. (Third house Pisces, ruled by Neptune in the Second house)
    • The difference for the period after September 23 versus the period from August 12 to September 22 is that there isn’t the same ’ shock and awe’ effect.
    • The similarity is that the money system is still very much involved.
    • The Neptune connection means there is still confusion, illusion and the possibility of fraud and, because the action takes place where it does, the media will play a major role.
    • This communication, illusion, confusion period will last 34 days.

I can see that you are using the Sibley chart and your argument is strong.

I like reading Michael Wolfstar who uses a Scorpio rising chart. That chart would put the current transit placement of Pluto in the 2nd house and Neptune in the 4th house (home, mortgages). In the Solar return, Uranus is in the fourth. Just a different perspective.

I have always preferred the Sibley chart because the US was *so* Sagittarian: optimistic, bouncy, don’t-fence-me-in, ‘go west young man, go west’, cowboys, astronauts.

The clincher for me was the Pluto-Saturn opposition right on the Sibley Ascendant/Descendant axis on 911.

I also like this year’s Pluto on the Ascendant and in the First house of the Sibley Solar Return. (The first house is the country as a whole, its general condition and prosperity and health.)

Astrology of an Address ~ Dayel Kirk

      July 8, 2009

Dayel Kirk has a fun freebie on her site, The Reluctant Astrologer. She gives you the astrology of your address. She takes only the number from your address (no street name) and assigns it to the 360 degree zodiac. If you live in an apartment, only the apartment number is used, not the street number.

If you are a numerologist, you will find using the zodiac degree a very interesting addition to your number meanings.

My address number corresponds with 14 Pisces. Dayel describes this as:

A Pisces address is a place for rest or escape, relaxation, regeneration, creative expression, spiritual pursuits or solitude.

At this address, I have cared for elderly parents, started a small theatre and this blog, studied various religious texts, delved into spirituality, and found a great deal of solitude. It’s much more relaxing than my previous address (perhaps too much so) and has recently been certified as a wildlife habitat.

Thanks, Dayel! Please visit The Reluctant Astrologer to get the astrology of your address, along with some other freebies and some excellent posts on current astrological trends and personalities.
