Hilary and Pluto

Hilary Clinton has just moved into a challenging astrological period with two once-in-a-lifetime Pluto transits happening at the same time. This period will last from now until mid-November, 2008.

Pluto square the Moon

The Moon is the holder of early emotional conditioning, emotional patterns, habits and obsessions. Pluto square the Moon is a period when strong events, particularly those involving women, will have the effect of blasting away what is no longer helpful or necessary. Everything comes to the surface.

Pluto conjunct the Descendant, opposite the Ascendant

The Ascendant is Hilary; the Descendant is Bill (plus other important one-to-one relationships including best friends and open enemies).

Pluto on the Ascendant/Descendant line indicates that time has come to deal with both self and important one-to-one relationships in a new way. It is no longer possible or desirable to skim past challenging issues. Anything that has outlived its usefulness is purged, including relationships.     There is also the 8:02 a.m. chart. She has only recently put forward the evening chart. her mother had previously said morning. maybe Scorpio rising was deemed too much by Hillary with her Scorpio stellium. Pluto still squares the moon and transits the 8th house.

    I happen to think the PM chart is more accurate. Also, it may be that she and Mr. Clinton, as the article above mentioned, have come to an important, inspection point in their relationship.

    Sometimes, when people are asked for birth times, they are caught somewhat off-guard and will respond without providing AM or PM info. This may explain the confusion over Mrs. Clinton’s time. It may certainly explain Mr. Obama’s word-of-mouth time of 1:06. This looks, suspicously, like someone may have assumed PM instead of AM. Just food for thought.

    Dayel Kirk has a fun freebie on her site, The Reluctant Astrologer. She gives you the astrology of your address. She takes only the number from your address (no street name) and assigns it to the 360 degree zodiac. If you live in an apartment, only the apartment number is used, not the street number.

    If you are a numerologist, you will find using the zodiac degree a very interesting addition to your number meanings.

    My address number corresponds with 14 Pisces. Dayel describes this as:

    A Pisces address is a place for rest or escape, relaxation, regeneration, creative expression, spiritual pursuits or solitude.

    At this address, I have cared for elderly parents, started a small theatre and this blog, studied various religious texts, delved into spirituality, and found a great deal of solitude. It’s much more relaxing than my previous address (perhaps too much so) and has recently been certified as a wildlife habitat.
