Happy Birthday George W.!

First, a quote from GWB’s 2006 Solar Return:

GWB has Pluto conjunct the ascendant indicating a transformation to his person or to the image that he projects.

Time in a Solar Return starts with the ascendant and moves in a counter-clock-wise direction. Pluto was next to the ascendant but ‘behind’ it therefore the Pluto event that would transform GWB’s image would occur just before his next birthday.

On July 2,2007, Bush commuted the sentence of Scooter Libby. That was the Pluto event and for many, like Keith Olbermann, it was the final straw:

George W.’s 2007 Solar Return

The most important element in a Solar return is the location of the Sun. In the 2007 return, GWB’s Sun is directly opposite the point that reflects ‘career’ or ‘place in the world’. He may just not care any more or he may do something that has an adverse effect on how the country and the world sees him.

The second most important element in a Solar return is the ascendant and the placement of the planet that ‘rules’ the ascendant.

GWB’s Solar return ascendant is 25 degrees Aries, very close to his birth chart mid-heaven at 24 degrees Aries. This indicates career issues are prominent for him for the next year.

Aries is ‘ruled’ by Mars. Mars is in the First House and does not make any connection with any other planet in the chart but does square the ascendant, Mercury, Pluto combo in his birth chart. This could mean that he will challenge strong forces or take risky chances.

GWB also faces challenges on the domestic front. He has difficult aspects to the Moon and Venus, the two planets that represent emotions and women, and to Mercury, the planet that rules the partnership house in his birth chart.

GWB is in a FIVE YEAR when everything changes and those things that really are not going to work drop away. Things that seemed possible in January are discarded by December.

Astrology of an Address ~ Dayel Kirk

    July 8, 2009

Dayel Kirk has a fun freebie on her site, The Reluctant Astrologer. She gives you the astrology of your address. She takes only the number from your address (no street name) and assigns it to the 360 degree zodiac. If you live in an apartment, only the apartment number is used, not the street number.

If you are a numerologist, you will find using the zodiac degree a very interesting addition to your number meanings.

My address number corresponds with 14 Pisces. Dayel describes this as:

A Pisces address is a place for rest or escape, relaxation, regeneration, creative expression, spiritual pursuits or solitude.

At this address, I have cared for elderly parents, started a small theatre and this blog, studied various religious texts, delved into spirituality, and found a great deal of solitude. It’s much more relaxing than my previous address (perhaps too much so) and has recently been certified as a wildlife habitat.

Thanks, Dayel! Please visit The Reluctant Astrologer to get the astrology of your address, along with some other freebies and some excellent posts on current astrological trends and personalities.
