A closer look at the 2006 USA solar return: a stressful year ahead

The Leo Ascendant is ruled by a 12th house Sun which shows that the president and government authority figures are largely working behind the scenes and very concerned with issues involving secrets and secret enemies.

The Moon in the 4th house shows the American public are concerned with issues at home and that they are siding with the opposition to government. They feel weighed down with serious legal and communication issues. They don’t trust the information they are receiving. Saturn in the 1st house shows a time of mourning and was in this position in 1963 (assassination of JFK) and 2001 (911).

There is shocking news about a female member of the House or Senate (possibly in the period from April 28 to June 2, 2007).

In the period from February 18 to April 27, 2007 there is a strong threat to the American people from terrorism, infection or flood.

Legal matters remain a fascination for the public, including prominent individuals with legal difficulties and the struggle to stop the erosion of personal legal rights.

Outlook for the election:

The government is represented by the Tenth house which, in this Solar Return, has Aries on the cusp. Aries is ruled by Mars and Mars has a nasty opposition to Neptune. Mars is ego, drive, passion, anger. Neptune (in this position) dissolves, weakens, saps and taints.

The Moon represents the people and is located in the 4th house, showing that the people are more on the opposition side than the current government. There will continue to be legal challenges to the way the votes are being counted.

    Dayel Kirk has a fun freebie on her site, The Reluctant Astrologer. She gives you the astrology of your address. She takes only the number from your address (no street name) and assigns it to the 360 degree zodiac. If you live in an apartment, only the apartment number is used, not the street number.

    If you are a numerologist, you will find using the zodiac degree a very interesting addition to your number meanings.

    My address number corresponds with 14 Pisces. Dayel describes this as:

    A Pisces address is a place for rest or escape, relaxation, regeneration, creative expression, spiritual pursuits or solitude.

    At this address, I have cared for elderly parents, started a small theatre and this blog, studied various religious texts, delved into spirituality, and found a great deal of solitude. It’s much more relaxing than my previous address (perhaps too much so) and has recently been certified as a wildlife habitat.
